One fact I learned from this was our chromosomes are together instead of being separated. This is because of the fact how we make babies. Also, because they split in two with each half to get a copy of the same DNA. Most other creatures make new offspring sexually. What this does is combine DNA from two parents to make the child. Our parents also give us copies of there DNA's so that's why we have some of their traits, hair color, eye color and skin color, Genes get passed down from one generation to another.
I Lastly, learned that their is an average 6 million differences between any two people's DNA. Not every body has the same set of DNA's. Also, that over time chromosome brake off and go to other chromosomes and take some of their DNA to make one of the same DNA. Lastly, that an average human being has about 46 chromosomes.
